Meet the Founder of Candice Wellness
Itβs so wonderful to have you here! Iβm Candice, a Nutrition, Lifestyle & Behavioural Coach based in the beautiful South West of England, helping people in the UK and across the globe to reach their health and wellness goals.
My journey into health started 10 years ago, just before my first fitness photoshoot. What began as a personal curiosity soon became a passion, and in 2025, I decided to officially help others by becoming a member of the Royal Society for Public Health, as an insured nutritional coach. My mission is making health and nutritional advice accessible to everyone and sharing everything I have learnt, to help others feel happy & healthy.
Some of my favourite things include flowers & gardening, especially growing plants from seeds (itβs so rewarding!), hitting the tennis court & attending dance classes, going out for some delicious food and also spending a quiet night in with my two cats.
I canβt wait to connect with you & support you on your journey. Keep reading below to find out even more about me and how we can get started!

The "Why," Not Just the "What": I donβt just give you a meal plan, or tell you what to do - I help you to understand the why behind every change and I uncover why past diets failed you.
The Bigger Picture: Stress, late nights, and busy calendars happen. I adapt your goals to fit your actual life, not some "perfect" version of it.
No More Guesswork: Iβll teach you how to make smart, whole-food choices so confidently that, eventually, you won't need me anymore!
The 80/20 Reality: I love real food, but I also love sanity. I guide you to consistently work towards your goals while enjoying your favourite foods guilt-free.
-
Freedom: You should feel in control. I balance realistic, challenging goals with your life so you can enjoy the journey.
Simplicity: Complicated plans fail. I focus on real foods and simple habit changes that don't drain your free time or energy.
Consistency over Perfection: Iβd rather you be "pretty good" for a lifetime than "perfect" for a week. Itβs all about playing the long game when creating healthy habits!
Zero Judgment: No one is perfect. If you go off track, itβs ok! I will help you learn from it and move forward without any guilt.

I've spent my years deep in spreadsheets as a Chartered Accountant, so I understand the office struggle. Sat down for long hours, relying on supermarket ready-made lunches because you didnβt prep anything, and office biscuits calling your name. Sound familiar? I know how tough it can be to prioritise yourself when life feels non-stop, so thatβs exactly why I coach with real life in mind.

My parents & grandparents owned a bakehouse, so I definitely know a thing or two about temptation and indulgence! From fresh bread, to triple layered cakes and pastries, Iβve been surrounded by sweet treats my whole life. In fact, even I enjoy baking myself! Thatβs why my approach is never about restriction. Itβs about learning how to enjoy the foods you love while still moving towards your goals. Thereβs room for a slice of cake and a strong, healthy body!

Up Until My Early 20s I was inactive, overweight, body conscious and totally confused about food. I fell into every fad diet trap like 800-calorie days, seriously low-carb plans, fat-burning teas (you know the ones...). Iβd lose a few pounds, gain back double, lose motivation, lose confidence, and then start searching for the next miracle fix.
Sick of this constant downward spiral, I started learning about nutrition and fell in love with it. I even took the plunge of doing my first ever fitness photoshoot! Proud moment? 100%! But also... too much, too fast. It wasnβt sustainable and I slipped back into old habits quickly.
I learnt a lot from that process and everything that came after, so I decided to set myself up for yet another fitness photoshoot. I wasnβt as lean as the first but I felt so much stronger.
Fast forward to now, I am in a much happier place mentally and physically. I have learnt a lot from my experiences and I want to share that with everyone. One thing that stands out to me though, is that sustainability wins every time.
You donβt need a strict 8-week transformation plan.
You donβt need to starve yourself or give up everything you enjoy.
You do need a realistic strategy that fits your life.
You definitely need to enjoy the process if you want to stick with it.
And you never have to do it alone. Having the right support makes the process easier. Even coaches have coaches - itβs OK to ask for help!
